The Place
The area defined for the European Hall ia at about 1hr from Rome, near the border between the regions of Lazio e Umbria, along the Roma - Firenze Highway. The terrain is in the county of Attigliano (Terni province) in the Umbria region. It is 2 Km from the Highway exit. The nearest train stop is within few minutes walk from the Sala. The size of the terrain is about 0,8 hectares and located at the limit of Attigliano, town with about 2000 inhabitants. It can be reached by train or car from Rome in about 1 hr and from Florence in about 1:45 hr.

The commitment with the current owners has been signed. The construction plans to be presented to Attigliano City Hall by mid March are under preparation. The bureaucratic process for approval will take approximately 2 months. As a consequence we believe that by the end of May we could begin the construction work and place the monolith. The steel monolith is almost ready and, when the moment comes, we'll only need to transport it and place it.
